THE VV WISHES YOU A CHRISTMAS OF THE VERY BRIGHTEST AND BEST...

Star of Bethlehem by Sir Edward Burne-Jones
Exhibited at The Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery

The Christmas carol, Brightest and Best, has a beautiful new arrangement, composed by Kirsten Morrison, and sung by Kirsten and Peter Shipman in the link below - just as they performed it at the book launch for The Goddess and the Thief.  It is exquisite. The VV hopes that you also enjoy it, and wishes you the very brightest and best of Christmas days.

  3. What an interesting Burne-Jones version of the Wise Men presenting their gifts. They are in beautiful robes, largely blue in colour, handsome, clean and eager to see the baby. It may not look like any part of Israel or Jordan, but it does look peaceful.

That is what I wish you and the bloggers. A year of true peace.
